What is Freedom? Why Would You Want to Disappear?

Freedom:  the condition of being free; the power to act or speak or think without externally imposed restraints
Why would you want to disappear? The definition above tells the whole truth. We are no longer free. I want to disappear because I am no longer free of government oppression, unfair taxation, and interference in my life. Our politicians are out of control, and I no longer think they can be reigned in. Ayn Rand was right. Atlas is shrugging, and I’m checking out.

Perhaps you feel oppressed by other life issues. Maybe you want to learn how to disappear because of your family life. Maybe you’re stuck in a bad marriage, or another dysfunctional family system. If it’s too hard to leave on the surface, maybe you’re ready to learn how to disappear.

If you’re ready to disappear, you need to realize that it takes serious commitment and a willingness to cut all your social and professional ties. It means moving farther than you can be recognized. It means moving farther than your local news can find you. It means living on the fringe for a time, perhaps forever.
